Want a musical night out without spending your hard earned money? What about giving a little time to a great cause? Get “active” in the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival this September. The festival runs the 10th through the 14th and is only a success with the countless volunteers that help out.
With under a month to go, we need your help to make this festival one to remember. As the co-chair of the Harvest Green Team, I know that each division of the festival is looking for volunteers and I’m happy to welcome you all. For anyone interested in volunteering, please start the registration process by going to the Harvest website;
Find the “New volunteers can register here” link located in the first paragraph under the picture of the past volunteers. Click the HERE and fill in the table with your information, read the Harvest Jazz and Blues volunteer code of conduct, and hit submit.
Once you have completed this form, you can use the “festival schedule” link to choose a volunteer position. This schedule is a table that is divided by venue and date.
Hit any “Volunteer” link under a tent/night, and then you will be given a list of the possible positions, like Harvest Green Team, that are still available for that night/tent. Select the Volunteer on the right-hand side of the list and your finished.
Your info and request to volunteer will be sent to the division chairs to confirm your application and you will receive a confirmation email once approved (usually 24 hours).
BONUS – If you’d like a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Buck 65 show, join the volunteer for the GREEN TEAM on any night of the festival!
Thanks for volunteering and we look forward to seeing you at the festival.
Lynn Miller – Harvest Green Team Co-chair.
