Winter Ultimate

TURF! CLEATS! SWEET!
Some preliminary info about 4-on-4 Winter Ultimate. The dome is quite expensive and we’re making this a no-frills league to keep it as cheap as possible.

Times: Mondays at 8:30 or 9:30PM (one 1 hour game/week)
Dates: Jan 9th start (16 weeks with room for snowdates and March Break)
Accepting: 12 teams max. Individual and team registrations OK
Style: 4-on-4 continuous (sub-on-the-fly)
Ratio: 3M/1F or 2M/2F gender ratio (registration dependent)
Fee: TBD (expect $100 range)

Registration opens December 1st for ONLY 2 WEEKS. We are planning for clinics/instruction and playoffs.

Fall Dodgeball and Basketball

BBall – Thursdays at 9PM (Nov. 3 start)
DBall – Tuesdays at 7:30 or 8:30PM (Nov. 8 start)

Fall/Winter Sports

While we eagerly await our gym/field confirmations we thought it best to give you an update on what we’re planning.

Online registration will open as soon as everything is confirmed!

Fall Ultimate (hosted by the SPAWN Mixed Ultimate Club) – 10-12 weeks,
Fall Basketball – 3-on-3 mixed, 8-10 weeks,
Indoor Dodgeball – 6-on-6 mixed, 12-14 weeks,
Winter Ultimate – 4-on-4 mixed, 10-12 weeks,
Winter Basketball – 3-on-3 mixed, 8-10 weeks,

Tell your friends. Stay in the loop. Save your pennies. Get out and use those Active Fredericton Cards (if you’re already a member).

Tuesday Rain Plan

August 23rd is the final night of Tuesday Summer League. Our regular schedule has been posted here.

Should it rain we will ONLY be playing the Tier finals at Reading Park on the 23rd. Prepare to get wet and bring a change of clothes to get in to for the social afterwards.

6:15 @ Field 1 – Fire In The Disc-O vs Disc In A Box (Tier 3 Final)
6:15 @ Field 2 – Thor’s Hammer vs Widespread Panic (Tier 2 Final)
7:30 @ Field 2 – Bleu Nuit vs Fan-Flickin-Tastic (Tier 1 Final)

All other games will be recorded as a tie unless the captains agree to determine their results in some other way…’nuff said.

All Tuesday and Wednesday players are encouraged to be at the Wilser’s Room for the 9pm Social and Awards!

League Photo and Pizza!

This Tuesday (July 26th) we will be having a pizza party for all Active Fredericton ultimate players at the Wilser’s Room. But first we will be taking our annual league photo on the patio of the Capital Complex.

The shutter goes at 8:55pm sharp so be there on time with your league jersey on! Wednesday players are encouraged to join us for the photo and pizza too!
